Wine Pairing Event

      Like most nonprofits, fundraisers are necessary to secure the funding needed to continue on with their mission. The Nursery is hosting a wine pairing and silent auction event 6:00 – 9:00 Saturday, May 20, 2023 at The Farm 3205 Airport Trail, Temple, TX.

Attendees will enjoy three wines and three food pairings with non-alcoholic options available. Plants will also be available for purchase onsite. We are excited to feature live music from Ryan DeSiato, a Silent Auction with amazing items on which you can bid, and an evening full of fun!

Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased in person at the nursery at 1220 B Main Street in Belton (right behind Bourland Landscape Supply). You can also call the nursery at (254)-444-3587 or secure them at door the day of the fundraiser. Additionally, you may purchase a ticket online through this website. Just click the donate button and notate in the comments section your donation is for a wine pairing ticket purchase. Your tickets can be collected at the door the evening of the event.

The 2023 Wine Pairing is a Capital Campaign. A capital campaign is “a multi-faceted effort to reach a significant financial goal. For example, a non-profit might undertake a capital campaign when looking for funding for a new office building, a major piece of equipment, or a relocation fund.” Funds raised from this capital campaign will help to complete and expand service facilities, operational funds for those expansions, and funds for inclusion of community experiences.

Who We Are

      Eldred’s Nursery Foundation is the only nonprofit of its kind in the Bell county area in Texas and is a wonderful opportunity for those with special needs. This foundation focuses on teaching the skills that will allow young adults with special needs to gain independence and ultimately enter job markets with their newfound strengths. Trainees are given a wide variety of tasks concerning caring for the various plants and are given extra instruction on the importance of communication.
